บทคัดย่อ

                 คริสตจักรโปรเตสแตนต์ในประเทศไทยโดยส่วนใหญ่ยังรักษาความตั้งใจที่จะก่อตั้ง และขยายคริสตจักรอย่างรวดเร็วและขยายอย่างต่อเนื่อง ความมุ่งมั่นตั้งใจนี้เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญมากในการเกิดผล เราพบว่าองค์การหรือคริสตจักรที่มีเป้าหมายอย่างชัดเจนตั้งแต่แรกว่าอยาก เห็นการเกิดผลและเติบโตอย่างรวดเร็ว ไม่ได้อยากเห็นผลแบบค่อยเป็นค่อยไป รวมทั้งวางแผนและมุ่งมั่นทุ่มเทที่จะให้บรรลุตามเป้าหมายที่ว่านั้น 

                 เราจะมีการปลูกคริสตจักรมากขึ้น แต่ถ้าดูข้อมูลให้ลึกลงไปเราจะพบว่าคริสตจักรที่ก่อตั้งขึ้นมักจะกระจุกตัวกันอยู่ในเมืองใหญ่มากกว่า ในขณะที่ต่างจังหวัดหรืออำเภอในเขตชนบทที่ประชากรเบาบางกว่าเมืองใหญ่ เศรษฐกิจไม่ดีเท่าเมืองใหญ่ และการคมนาคมไม่สะดวกเท่าเมืองใหญ่ จะไม่ค่อยมีการก่อตั้งคริสตจักรใหม่ ที่น่าเสียดายคือ ทุกคณะทุกองค์กรที่พยายามก่อตั้งคริสตจักร ยังไม่ได้มีการประสานพลังกันในเรื่องนี้ดีเท่าที่ควร ทำให้พวกเรายังพยายามก่อตั้งคริสตจักรในท้องถิ่นเดียวกันคณะแล้วคณะเล่า องค์กรแล้วองค์กรเล่า ในขณะที่ท้องถิ่นที่ยังไม่มีคริสตจักรเลยแม้แต่แห่งเดียว ก็ยังจะไม่มีใครไปก่อตั้งคริสตจักรใหม่อยู่นั่นเอง.
